Sachin Tendulkar Scores A Double Ton, Creates A World Record

The greatest cricketer of the century Sachin Tendulkar who scored double century in one-day match has been congratulated by Lok Sabha

His double century on Wednesday was one such occasion. When he took a single to reach 200 in the final over of the Indian innings at Gwalior, Sachin became nearly 40 years after the first ODI was played - to score a double hundred in a one-day game. Along the way he broke the record for the highest individual score in an ODI, which stood at 194 runs.

Just 147 balls later, Sachin set the record straight in empthatic fashion.
